About Me

I am Christian a man of 40 years of age. We are a family of two and l am the elder. I completed O ' level way back in the year 1990 .l didn't continue not the fact that my parents didn't have the money but rather l was interested in agriculture. I was doing subsistence farming during my school days and this help me overcame hardship. I got this business through my father who gave me some land for me to cultivate when he got to know that l am interested in his professional (Farming)
I am a Ghanaian and our land is rich in agriculture and that make me more interested in the farming cultivating.
I have two kids both female and l will love to see them do their own business when they grow up.
I like play lude, oware and dame. All these are traditional games

My Business

I am a farmer who grow plantain, cassava and maize for commercial purpose. I have a land of about 25 hecture in which the farming activities are done.
I have one at Dansoman and the other at Daamango my hometown where it is use for sunsistance farming. I grow to feed the family and myself as well.
I selected this kind of business because my father was once an award winner in the best farmer and leave us with a large mass of land
for cultivation.
I make all my income through this business by selling them to the community. I also have a school around our village where l supply them with plantains and maize for school feeding.
Some of the income made are use as capital for the business and for schools.

Loan Proposal

I am still on planting. Due to the rain, planting in this season is moving on seccefully. I appeal to lenders to loan me an amount of 70$ to support this farming project. This project will go further to help the community. I will make 100% profit when l get the loan due to the rainy season. Thank you zidisha lenders. God bless you!

I am not a bad person but these higher risk charges will not help me in any way. That's why l opted out so may be you will think l am a defaulter.

Even l don't think some lenders will be happy if they get to know that this amount is been deducted from his borrowers account. Let the lenders know the risk involved and the good lenders will still lend out of charity.

Rember that because of defaulters and hence setting out higher charges for the young entrepreneurs will not help at all but rather creates more defaulters than previous.
If you could come out with different solution rather than these higher charges killing the innocent entrepreneurs, l think it will be better.
Zidisha is charity work. Isn't it ? Why should innocent borrowers bear the cost of defaulters.
Just help the few who are good and really to do business and avoid a lot a lot of bad application which result in loan defaulters.
Check very well and let me advice; there is NO poor innocent entrepreneur that can start business and survive using the zidisha platform unless that person has develope his/her own business already and need to expand @ Laurie.

I wish to have continue but the credit risk charges make me opted out. I thought it was only 5% service fee that all. That's what my invitor told me.. Zidisha over charge.

Zidisha does not benefit ordinary entrepreneurs at all due to the high charges. Staff make profits for themselves.
Why don't you refund our credit risk for us after complete payments? If you really charge service fee of 5% .
My bank ( sekere rural) just charge me 16.5% for one year. I borrow 2500.00 ghc. This is far better than zidisha. Zidsha do not have interest rate but charges over 30% of your amount with short period. Zidsha needs to closed for they are not of any help to the poor entrepreneurs.
Zidisha just make money out of us intead.

One thing that has not helping zidisha is if u have less than 90% on time repayment rate. You will not get credits limit increase. That has discourage people from payment when their payment rate is small.
