    Hello Lenders and the management,
It has been long since I was able to reach Elvis Steves over his phone but till date have not been able to reach him and his community leader raised an issue of which Elvis used his contacts without his consent and he was arranging for legal matters as he keep claiming that he does not know Elvis at all.

I had earlier shared with you lenders and the management that Elvis profile does not have contacts apart from names so it so difficulty for me to reach him and also to know his well about.
    Regards

    Dear Zidisha fraternity,
Warm greetings to you all, I would like to update of the lenders of Elvis Steves and the Zidisha managed that I have never been luck to reach him since January 2014 this year of which was my last date that I managed to reach him on the phone. I also tried to communicate to Zidisha management about the case with Elevis’s community leader Mr Peter Thairu whose contact was attached to Elvis profile as a community leader that he is not aware of Elvis Steves and also he does not know him at all.
Secondly, I have realized that the family and neighbors reference attached to Elvis profile does not have phone number contacts a part from the names and therefore it is difficult for me to reach this family members.
    Regards

    Dear Zidisha fraternity,
I have this evening 8-4-2104 ringed Elvis Steves several times but his phones was not going through as the response was that the phone is switched on. Secondly I ringed Mr Peter Thairu, who is a community leader to Elvis Steves according to his profile contact details, Mr. Peter Thairu confirmed to me that he has been receiving sms of about 5 people using his contacts as their community leader at Zidisha, according to him he is saying that he does not know this borrowers using his reference since they have never approached him to be their zidisha reference. He told me that he is a school teacher and he resides in Nakuru. He has requested me if it is possible get all the borrowers details who are using his contacts as reference and any assistance that we may need from him, he said he is ready to help.

    Regards

    Dear Lenders and Zidisha team,
I happy today 28-3-2014 that have spoken to Peter Thairu whose contacts are attached to Elvis Steves Profile. Peter has informed me that he has lately been contacted several my Zidisha team concerning couple of borrowers who attached his contacts as their community leader. Peter confirmed to me also that he is indeed a head teacher of a school but none of the borrowers brought the recommendation letter to him to sign or for a school rubber stamp.
Peter is now requesting to get contact numbers of all the borrowers who are using his contact as their community so that he can follow-up with them, finally to enable him to record a police statement of the fraud.
Lastly, Elvis is not reachable as have been severally trying to reach him on his phone as he had early promised me that he was to start making loan repayment and when was the date was due he went unreachable to date.

    Regards
    Vincent – VM Kenya

    Dear Lenders,

Today we received a response from an endorser of Elvis. He was able to visit him and told us he has been having business problems. He is encouraging Elvis to reschedule his loan in order to work through these problems without being late for more months.

    Best,

As of today, Elvis has not replied to any of our communications regarding his past due payments. Today, we did receive a message from one of his endorsers in response to a mediation request from us. He will contact Elvis and find out if he is all right and/or having any sort of difficulty that might be constraining his finances. We will inform you as we have more details.
Thank you for your patience and support.

Thank you so much for approving my loan even though i am doing a small business . We small business men and women face so many problems, to the extent that money only cannot solve them. But you Zidisha group have solved the finance issue, but other major issues are still facing the small time business people. It is my humble request that the organization goes a step further and introduces a program where, the business people are given some important tips or knowledge on how to go about solving the business issues they face.
Personally, I started a business three years ago, and I learnt the one or two on ways about how to cope with problems arising from my small business. So, through hardship , people can exchange ideas on the best practices to succeed in business. True, people from different areas or countries face different business problems but also we might be facing the same problems. So with this network we can gain a lot of knowledge on business if we can share ideas together.
Some of my friends tend to think that, you only engage in a business because you do not have anything to do. They have not been oriented into the business world, hence they get or borrow money and there they go. Eventually some may succeed while many fall on the wayside. Here is where I want Zidisha to come in and fill this void of business ignorance.
At least, since I learnt the hard way, I always plan before I take a business loan. This is what I did, and I know it is the sure way to succeeding in business. Thank again to all that helped my loan to be approved God bless them and the zidisha community.

It seems like this borrower's entire business revolves around copyright infringement, illegally copying movies and profiting from other people's work. This loan probably needs to be pulled.
