About Me

Am young 24 years old motivated persistence and hardworking. Am in a family of five father, mother, sister and one brother. Am well educated still pursuing my degree at Mount Kenya university doing purchasing and supplies management. Am the bread winner of the family as a first born son I have been involved in varies business in sales but since 4 years ago I have been focused in chicken broilers for meat and it has always worked for me as I have been able to pay schools my schools fees and also for my brother and sister and also for the upkeep of our family. Now I have joined in my parents in the venture and they are playing a big role in the business. I did build another house to increase the number of chickens 3 months ago but due to financial constrains I have been unable to proceeds till now I was introduced to zidisha by a friend.

My Business

First ild like to thank the zidisha team for helping fund my loan. I was able to increase the size of my chicken house using that amount and also increase the number of chicken from 500 to 700. I was also able to plant 2000 cabbages and 500 tomatoes which i expect i will get good profits from them since it is the pick season. After the sale of the chicken, cabbages and tomatoes i expect to make around an average of 80,000 to 90,000 kshs thats around 1000 dollars and will use my next zidisha loan to increase the number of chicken,since my chicken house can accomodate 1500.

Loan Proposal

The loan that I will be given am going to buy more chicks to increase my stock. I have an already built chicken coop but but was unable to stock more chickens but with the zidisha loan am going to increase my stock progressively as the coop can stock 1500 chicks with the 90 usd am going to buy 133 chicks and as I progress in payment I believe am going to be able to fully stock the chicken coop.
