About Me

i am married woman and a mother of four children. Three are my biological children but the 2nd born is an orphan, my aunt’s child who had passed on due to malaria. My first born is in class four, class two the second born, baby class and an infant. i live in a 2 and a half acre piece of land in bibirioni. I am a farmer and that has enabled me raise my children. I use the cash i obtain to pay their school fees, buy their clothing and mainly for their medical expenses. I studied up to form four after which I decided to venture into fruit selling business. This was not as profitable and I gave up the business and decided to venture sorely in farming.

My Business

I am a farmer by profession and mainly farm on 2 1/2 acres piece of land. I mainly grow maize and vegetables. I use both organic and inorganic fertilizers while planting. I use animal (cows and hens) dung for the vegetables and fertilizers for the maize. This not only makes farming cheap but also health and is preferred by most people in my region. I harvest about 50bags of maize and sell each at 1500 shillings. This gives me about 75000. i use 32600 to buy fertilizers and pesticidesand 64,550for the labour. This gives me about 40,000 shillings profit on horticulture, and 30,000 on maize making it 70,000 shillings in a year.

Loan Proposal
