am joyce chai from mtondia in kenya.am married with five children.the first born is in class seven and they are all in school.I live in mtondia which is about 800kms from Nairobi capital kenya and about 45 kilometres away from mombasa town.i went to school in the early 1990 upto class three.my parents are poor peasant farmers who were unable to take me to school by then.am currently doing some block mining business which has helped me to pay fees and help my family.my husband is also in the same business.i started this business with an aim of helping my children's school fees. The earnings i get from this business is used to pay for my upkeep and also plough back into the business.
am in the business of block mining within mtondia.I do this manually since machines are very expensive.i mine about 70 blocks per day and this translates to about 1400 blocks in a month.i sale each at kshs 10 this makes about kshs 14,000 per month.i have no workers to pay and instead i use the profit to pay tuition fees and for substance farming. There is demand for these services because there are plenty of buyers within.competition is high so i sometimes lower prices to attract more customers.
Am in the business of block mining within mtondia in kenya.I do this manually since machines are very expensive.i will use the loan to cut or mine about 210 blocks per day and this shall translates to about kshs 2100 per day.I will also use it to buy 50 pieces of makuti to thatch my office. This shall cost about kshs 30,000 of the loaned amount.
