About Me

Am Ruth Kasamba , I live and work part time in Nakuru town, i also keep livestock. This is my main concern as a business venture. I come from a family of ten. Five boys and five girls. my father died some time while my mother is alive. She stays in western Kenya. I live in Langa Langa Estate near Top 10 petrol station. I have a farm not far from Nakuru town where I keep livestock .In the cause of the day – week days I bring milk to town , where I sell in daily shops.
I am a trained ECD teacher , I did some teaching for five years later to go into business. This is my personal business , though I have employed a person who helps in taking care of the livestock. My main products are milk but later own I intend to go into breeding heifers and beef .But this will come on when I have established my business.
Nakuru town has many people, the demand for milk is so high that there is a big market for this. I have many customers as the quality of my milk is always very good.I never dilute and this makes me have many customers. The revenue I get from my business , I always reinvest and further I use some to help my mum educate my other brothers.

I have many customers as , I give good products which are not diluted . The risk involved in my business is that , some time am unable to get transport on time . Hence my milk goes bad. The business is profitable due to the high demand of the products. My monthly revenue after I have paid my bills is Ksh. 30,000 .I will use the profits to repay my loan.
