About Me

Am john kiboi gichuhi am from nyeri county but i reside in Naivasha where also am an upcoming young businessman. Here in Naivasha i act as a middleman for supply of fish from lake naivasha and my cradle home Nyeri. I started this business six months ago after a research that i conducted when at home and found that there was this need in the market and i had to satisfy it. Being a graduate of procurement management from Kimathi university , it was difficult to secure a job in this hard economic times so i had to think hard on how to finance my livelihood.

My Business

Am very happy to have this opportunity to share my business structure and its operations to zidisha lenders. Am a fish supplier from Naivasha to Nyeri, karatina and other small town within nyeri county. Fish business is a booming one currently in central province and its environs. This is due to various inductions and work-shop conducted in this area concerning the good health of fish eating. I sell three types fish namely tilapia, mad-fish and Ngege. Although there are fish farmers in this areas, the demand for fish execeed its supply hence this is a profitable business. It is some times risky due to high spoiled rate of fish during transportation and there we do the refrigeration from the source. An average sales ,costs and profits per month amounts to 45500,25000 and 20500 respectively.
