About Me

My name is Brenda Oriwo, a first born in a family of ten, i was born as the only child of my mother since she died immediately after giving birth to me , i didn't even get to know her . living without ones mum is sometimes difficult, especially when there is a step mother in the picture. she was really harsh on me, nothing i did ever pleased her. I went on to finish my primary and secondary school studies but those few years looked like eternity,I thank God that is now in the past,and a few years after my secondary school i started cooking some mandazi in the morning and selling , the rest is now history i now have my own restaurant. i love rongo town in that it is as if it is a town that was created to accommodate me , i have never seen so much love like am seeing here..I love cooking and singing , i want my children to be musicians in future.

My Business

I deal with many kinds of food from snackds like mandazis , chapatis , meat , ugali,peas, beans, porrige e.t.c,Food is needed daily for the human body to grow and thats what keeps me in business, i also feed a few needy children from poor backgrounds who attend school near my restaurant free of charge.I chose this business because i have a passion for good food that is well cooked. My expenses are mainly my two employees salary , the cost of buying food stuffs and shop rent, this costs are around ksh 30000 per month, my income revolves around ksh50000 every month,i invest my income in a grocery store i started.

Loan Proposal

I will use the loan to hire one more cook for my restaurant, there is a lot of cooking we do at our restaurant only that we are limited since we cant alway beat deadlines, but if we hire an extra cook then we will be more effective and hence more sales, customers will be able to find their favorite food on time.This will enable my profits to increase by 5%, the cost of paying an employee every month is $50 and i will be able to pay him for two months as i pay the loan.
