About Me

Alhaji Sadiq is my name.I come from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region. I started my basic school at Islamic basic school, i furthered my education from there to Sunyani senior high school in Sunyani. My parents are farmers by profession hence all my education cost was funded by their product earns from the farm. In life it takes one’s own imagination to be poor or rich, thus you can identify a problem and solve it. I completed my secondary education and due to my hard work, and the respect that i have for people i was employed in a store and began to identify the needs of the community. With the little savings made, i started my own mobile phone business. My hobbies are reading and listening to music.

My Business

My business is located along the road to the main station of Berekum. I deal in; mobile phone accessories like chargers memory cards, batteries, housings, screen protectors and mobile phones. I started my business in the year 2013. After saving a capital of $350 from my previous job I started my own business. Due to the location of the firm i enjoy high demand since most people are within, thus easy access. I run my business with income of around $200 out of which $100 is profit. I always ensure my customers are maintained by ensuring excellent relationship and fair prices. I use the profit to restock my business. The risk my business faces is price fluctuations and customer demands. I beat this by buying stock in bulk when prices are fair enough to satisfy my customer demands at different times respectively. I have one employee but as the business grows I hope to add more people and that way I will also create employment to out of school youths in my community. Currently I have about 45 retailers who rely on me to supply them and I believe many more can be found if I had a financial support. .Thanks a lot to Zidisha team and I believe with your support I can achieve my dreams.

Loan Proposal

My stock is getting finished,my business is now running very fast and i will use this loan amount to restock the business. I deal in mobile phones and accessories and when given this amount,i will be able to buy more products and sell.I am much sure that the money will be given.Thank you.
