About Me

My names are Alfred Mutunga Mutungi. I was born in 15/04/1982 in the village called Lkisekini in Makueni County. I started schooling in the year 1989 that is nursery school. I joined my primary education in Kisekini Primary School. In the year 1977 I completed my primary education. In 1998 I was enrolled in form one in Kilungu day High school where I dropped due to lack of school fees where I forced to incomplete my O- Level education. In 1999 I went to Naivasha to my cousins where I thought to go and start a new life there. With a good fortune I was employed in Naivasha where I distributed bread with the bicycle. By that time I used my cousin bike that I say that he had helped me very much, I was very happy of him of his good act, I putted more effort without looking what I was getting by that time because I had an aim. In the year 2002 I married my lovely wife where am blessed with four children.

My Business

As the business of bread selling went slowly in my veins I thought only that I would have some cash so that I can by my own bread and sell them my self without being asked any amount or profit by some one. In the year 2000, by that time I was more well i.e. I was having cash by my self because even I had afford to by my own bike and took my cousins bike to his premises. That the time I noticed that by working hard you must reap the fruits. So I continued with the working until the time when I saved some cash and took the bread from the wholesaler himself. I was happier than ever to step a single step forward. I started that business only with five thousand Kenyan shilling that, I have moved on well from that time to now where at the moment I have been able to buy the goods of 25,000/= per day where I have employed some workers who we distribute with them the goods. I have been very happy because of creating job to my fellow youths. But also I have some visions to improve and to take it further. I want to go and take the product direct to the producer because as you destroy the chain of supply the more cash you get. Thus you can’t go to the supplier with a bike to buy the goods. You must have a big pick up or a truck so that the producer can sell you his commodities. And to do this I have to get a capital for making my dreams come true. Thus am asking Zidisha to lead me a hand.

Loan Proposal

As described my names are Alfred Mutunga and I am grand for giving me a chance to have a loan with you Zidisha. As I had wrote before I would use the loan to expand my business of bread distribution in Naivasha- Kenya and its surroundings. At the moment I am distributing my goods that is bread using a bicycle but for God wishes, I am looking forward together with my effort I will buy a motorbike which will assist me to distribute the goods as first as possible and also will enable me to distribute as more as I can thus as at the moment I don’t have any loan with any bank or organization I will be able to pay your loan as first as possible thus this will enable me to pay it well without any trouble or problem. Also adding to this; as I go on with Zidisha Organization, I will make sure that I have expanded my business to the extent that I will be able to buy a motor vehicle which will assist me to go to the producer and take the goods from him. Thank you Zidisha as we work together
