My name is Samuel Somoni from Nairobi county. Am self-employed since 2010 I have a small business( a grocery) where I sell variety of fruits and vegetables. After being jobless from 2008 and the search wasn't forthcoming due to high rates of unemployment I started selling mangoes on a wheel barrow from which I have grown to the current level of business. I have since opened a grocery with more varieties of fruits and vegetables. The money I get helps me to support my family of two children and sustain the stocks of my grocery.
My grocery shop is located near where I reside . Its name is KOMA FRUITS & VEGES . Actually this business has been helpful to me since it has helped me to grow business wise from a temporary structure to a semi-permanent shop. At the moment business is good since there is increased demand for fruits and vegetables as many people are striving to stay healthy. Therefore the need to increase stock to meet the demand.. This is what made me to look for a source of funds to boost my business. I source my products from farms nearby so as to get good prices and be competitive in the market.
Through proper hygiene and customer relations I have seen my clients increase.
I seek about Ksh. 100,000.00 to repaint my shop, light it up well and expand it to create an attractive display and also increase the stock levels from current Ksh. 30,000.00 weekly to Ksh. 60,000.00
As soon as I will receive the funds and by luck is a rainy season I will travel to the firm and purchase my vegetables and fruits direct from farmers in bulky which will be more cheap. and then come and add to my stock this one will enable me to make a double profit for one it is cold here it wont expire that first before i sell all the stock hence i belief it will attract more profit which will enable me to pay back the loan in time.
