About Me

My name is Guire Mahamadi, I am a merchant at the Bobo Dioulasso central market. I was born the 10th of February 1985 in Bobo Dioulasso, in the province of Houet. After I went to school and got my "Brevet d'étude du Premier Cycle" (first cycle certificate), I did some small tasks to earn money in order to become financially independent. I come from a poor family with three brothers and a sister. My father was a driver and my mother a caretaker. I received a good education, my parents taught me to share, to forgive, charity, to work hard and to respect others. This background helped me to fit in with the community and to be listened to within my community. Through this message I would like to thank you all for what you're doing worldwide.

My Business

Thank you for this great opportunity. I've sold spare parts in my shop for more than four years now. This business suits me perfectly and I like it. Actually, I started as a little kid. I used to buy some parts from local suppliers and delivered them to motorcycle repairmen. Nowadays, I thank God, because I have my own shop located at the main entry to Bobo Dioulasso's biggest market. My five-square-meter-store is well-located and attracts many customers everyday. Always courteous with my customers, I sell my goods at very competitive prices.
The city of Bobo Dioussalo is well-known for its numerous motorcyles, so people need to be able to buy and exchange single parts at any time. My average daily turnover is good and I manage to live well from that.

Loan Proposal

I thank you dear lenders for your great generosity.
This is the first time that I raise a loan on Zidisha, and I would like to increase my stock of spare parts to then sell it in my shop.
I'm well-experienced, I tend to be more of a doer type and work hard everyday to improve what I do.
This first XOF 57 000 loan added to my own contribution will allow me to buy parts like pistons, connecting rod, cylinder heads, sparkplugs, nuts and bolts to be sold in my store.
My average daily sales revenue is XOF 200 000 and my average daily net income is XOF 20 000.

I created jobs by hiring two assistants about a year ago. I regularly send a rice bag and a corn bag to my parents. I also pay for my nephews' tuition fees.
Thank you for your support.

About Me

My Business

Dear all, we would like to apologize for the unusual delay in disbursing this loan. The reason for the delay is that our banking partner in Burkina Faso has changed its procedure for transferring funds to Zidisha members. We're communicating daily with the bank in an effort to expedite the disbursement of this loan under the new procedure.
    Best wishes,
    Alice

    Alice
