Oppong kofi Emmanuel is my name, 27 years of age born to Mr. and Mrs. Oppong, born and bred Techiman Municipal. I live with my parents, my father a pensioner, and my mother a petty trader but for some years now incapable of trading due to an illness which has affected her sight. After Senior high had to work as mason labourer and finally furthered my education to obtain my degree in computer science. During the year I began the national service, I started with snail farming which failed. I made savings from the national service stipends and after the service started with turkey farming and crop farming which the produce I get and little profits I share with the needy and poor because am from such a family. From the little I made from these, I have opened a bakery, for now baking bread as bread has now become part of the food we enjoy in this country. Am unable to meet the demand because I don’t have the financial strength to do so. I believe if am able to expand my business I can also train the youth in my area who have no skill to also get their daily bread to alleviate hardship in my community and meet my customers satisfaction. I do believe that with the help of our able lenders on this platform, this will be a dream come true and success will he ours from what I gain from my businesses.
I am into animal farming specifically turkey and crop farming and a bakery which is barely two months old. The bakery has a great future because even at its infancy the patronage is high but not able to produce in larger quantity because i use what i receive as profit to buy gas, bagging bags and make labels. I am having an outstanding amount of GHS500 to pay by the end of october as final payment of the oven i use. I believe with the help of Zidisha and it able lenders, this loan when given will help me produce in large quantity, employ people to help with kneading and baking, train interested youths and establish other bakery shops in neighboring communities and towns. Is my dream to touch lot of lives as much as I can, something I do every year during Christmas and Easter.
I need baking tins and 1 dozen cost GHS150. I will top up and buy 1 dozen of tin to increase my production to serve my customers.
