About Me

i am a male aged 21 from a family of seven currently student at masinde muliro university
My parents are both farmers . They depend on growing maize which we use to feed then the rest they sell to gather for our education and other needs. It was because of this that i had to think of a way of getting my own money to see me through my education . In my parent's farm i created a tree nursery which through selling seedling from the nursery bed i got pocket money to spend. I love reading novels and acting out plays , which prompted me to pursue literature in the university . I also write plays and poems at my free time .

My Business

From my tree nursery i sell upto 4000 trees on average . this amounts to a monthly income of 40000 dollars in 3 to four months . I have many customers because i have the best of what they need because i put alot of effort during my holidays in my work , moreso sell to them indegenous trees which are seldomly found currently but to me easy to find because of my nearness to a hill and forest . Most risks that are face i insufficiency of water which is affoidable because i water the seedlings with the water i pump them from a nearby stream . Repaying the loan will be easy for me because in the same piece of land i grow maize of my own while during dry season we harvest dry them and sell.

Loan Proposal

with this loan i will hire a piece of land in which i will create more compost heaps. Here i will have more land to start another green house where i will put up more seed beds of different kinds . this will increase the number of seedlings i will be able to raise each month an approximate of 10000 trees which with this by selling this i will have roughly 100000dollars which will be a great deal for me and my family. I would like support because with this seedlings i will plant some on our unused hill so as to reclaim it with time , also donate some to the community for them to plant so as to conserve our environment .

Milton, how many months will "fixing up somethings" take this time? I find it very hard to believe anything you tell us.

Milton, it would help considerably if you would make ANY amount of repayment toward this loan on a regular basis, instead of promising full repayment but making none.

Thank you, but he also needs to actually PAY the rescheduled amount. I am very unhappy that there have been zero payments since early August, when you and Samuel Shehi have both spoken to him, and no interaction on this page from the borrower either.

Milton, as you have rescheduled your payments down to nearly nothing over a period of many years, please at least have the courtesy to make the token payments on time. I would not have lent the money to you under the present repayment schedule. Thank you. Christy

      Morning CMK,

I have phoned Milton today 9.20am. I inquired about his recent reschedule. He explained that he had rescheduled because he was returning to school therefore wanted the repayment as small as it can possible be. Also he says he didn't imagine the reschedule had recorded a 5-yr term.

I have however negotiated with him to reduce the duration of the loan to atleast 1 year maximum. He has agreed to it & now promises to edit accordingly & repay regularly.

Thank you for your patience. It's going to be good!

      VM Shehi.

Thank you. There is a limited pool of money available to lend, and it needs to be used wisely and repaid promptly so it can be recirculated to other borrowers who also need funds.

Have a school research to write for three months into which my business won't be running smoothly without my supervision . the research involves me traveling to places in which I am depend entirely on my pocket money. further I spend most of the time in the research because as much as my business means alot the research also means my future. paying monthly will give me sufficient time to pay however how much it is.

I hope everything is going well with you! How are your plans to start another green house progressing? I see you're a bit behind in your first payments - try to pay off just a bit every week. Even if it's hard to come up with the whole amount, it can get overwhelming if you leave it too long! Tackle it a bit at a time, and you'll achieve your dreams!!
