About Me

Raised up with two parents who managed to take me to school and paid my school fees at primary level, I attained my primary certificate at class eight and eventually joined secondary school, but I couldn’t go on with my education at secondary level at form two because my father who was paying my school fees perished and my mother couldn’t raise that amount to pay my school fee.
Having settled home for about two to three years my older brother had to take me to a college where I did the following courses: dressmaking and tailoring, embroidery and beauty therapy.
Thereafter, I was employed in a certain salon owned by a friend who used to pay me according to how I worked. The money I got, I decided to open my own salon since I had gained an experienced from my friend because she showed me how to run and manage a salon.
The unique thing about our culture where I live is that, they like seeing everyone succeeding in each and everything that one deals with, since they give you the morale, support and courage to go on, some even convince others after my services and thereafter you see them coming with them to have my services.
Am a mother of two children and both are boys, one is in secondary school while the other still in primary school. The one in secondary school always wishes to become a lawyer while the other in primary school wishes to become a doctor when they finish their education. I always encourage and motivate them whenever I hear them say so.
I like singing and reading, I always sing whenever I feel bored and whenever am offering my services to my customers and they always enjoy. Am proud of my hobby since God gave such an hobby to praise Him whenever I feel like. At my church I am the soloist of each and every song we sing during church services.

My Business

I offer several goods and services , including tailoring, I also offer all sorts of services that a salonist, such as pedicure, manicure, shooting, straightening, blow-dry and shaving, even sell all types of goods that a salon consists. I also sell cloths, sodas and snacks.
These goods are useful or in demand since they help me to earn a living and every day, they also enable me to pay school fees for both my children.
I decided to run tailoring and a salon since n both of them I have an experience and am capable of doing both. The demand of people who want to make their hair or shave, and that demand of people who want to make new cloths or repair is high that’s the issue that made me to run such businesses. The profit I get from both is so high as compared to any other business and even the work is enjoyable and simple.
My typical cost and revenue is as follows: typical cost is twenty thousand (sh. 20000) for every stock I make and for both tailoring and salon and my revenue is thirty-five thousand (sh. 35000) since this is the typical cost and revenue in always make and the typical cost and revenue can be higher than this when I raise the stock that I always make..
The profit that I always make I use it for several meaningful purposes such as: paying school fees for my children accordingly whereby I pay school fee for one at secondary school and the other in primary school. I also reinvest in growing of the business by increasing the stock of the items needed during that particular time since I dint have one to depend on, I also use the profit for home improvement such that i use the profit to buy needs home and and my two children, also use it to pay for workers who always take care of my compound

Loan Proposal

I am applying for the loan so that it can help me to buy more stock for my business. They include beauty products such as braids, weaves, chemicals, jellies, among others. I also sell snacks which I would wish to increase the stock.
I would also like to buy tailoring equipments and machines, embroidery machines and also other equipments for use in my business. Currently I don’t have the embroidery machine but if I get money I wish to buy the machine since I have the skills.
I would like also to employ more skilled workers to help me run my business. This will help me serve my customers faster and more effectively. This will attract more customers due to the best services offered hence increasing profitability.
Furnishing my workplace is also another goal. Making the place look beautiful and attractive would help in attracting customers.
I also wish to start a small training so as to help youth to acquire the skills which can help them be self-sustained and reliant.
I therefore have several goals and if given money I believe I can move a step ahead. I can accomplish some goals such as increasing my stock and buying a few equipments.
