I was born in Nairobi Pumwani Hospital in the year 12/2/1985, I went to Ronald Ngala Primary School, whereby I completed my Primary level, and attained Kenya Certificate of Primary Education – KCPE, Later on I joined a Secondary School at St. Tito High school in Kiambu, where also I completed my O-level and attained Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE. After all this I went to Springboard College in Nairobi where I took my Course in computer secretarial.

My name is Lucy Phoebe Awuor Kagire, I am happy with my salon business which I ventured into recently when I got a starting capital from my husband, I started Buying the Equipment
starting a salon business with the following equipment:
Barber chairs
Carts and trolleys for storing tools and cosmetics
Hair styling station which includes a mirror, tool holders, storage drawers and an electrical outlet
Hair styling tools such as blow dryers, curlers etc.
Scissors and hair clippers
Water sprayers
Hair brushes, combs
Mixing bowls
Other supplies and materials such as hair clips, aprons, hand held mirrors, towels, gloves, etc.
Hair care products like shampoos, hair dyes, conditioners, hair colors, etc.
Magazines for the entertainment of the clients
Posters to decorate the salon. I never struggle to get clients. I have already established myself in this area and I have no regrets because with this business, I have been able to feed my child, put her through school, and pay my rent,Other drivers of success in the business, include time management – for instance, reporting to work on time – and use of the approved products and chemicals. Although their is challenges in any of the business, I hope through your lending Zidisha Community I will be able to get the opportunity to borrow loans to enable me move a steps a head so that am able to achieve my business goals.

Zidisha was introduced to my husband through his Friend Mr. Vincent Kenanda and who has been also family friend. We love and respect him through his faithfulness and humbleness and he is a dedicated man, jovial and also hardworking ready to assist.

Hello to all my lenders and Zidisha management, I am so happy for the previous loan of which it changed my business capital into a level that I can say that Zidisha is indeed changing my life and my business capital and the profit as well.

I am now again would like to request the second loan from Zidisha and am proposing to be used as follows

Hair Salon Supplies
Shampoo bowls: A shampoo bowl is a sink that can be used conveniently for hair treatments, hair washing and hair conditioning. It comes with a pump peddle that can be used to elevate or lower the level of the bowl and a drain system.

Hair brushes, combs: Make sure you equip your hair salon with all the different types of combs and hairbrushes like the round brush, square brush, wide-toothed comb, tail-end comb, etc.

Scissors and hair clippers: Equip your hair salon with the various hair clippers, hair clipper blades and hair scissors. You can ask your hairstylists for suggestions and recommendations on the types of scissors and clippers that they would like to use.

Other Supplies: These includes; hair clips, mixing bowls, aprons, water sprayers, applicator brushes, paper towels, hand held mirrors, geyser and rubber or plastic gloves.

My approximate budget is about KES 56,000 which equivalent to $639.386. I take the opportunity to request my lenders for bidding so that I can be able to raise my loan fully, as i promise to repay back in time as well.
