I am 37 years old. Married to one wife with 1 girl and 2 boys.Last year i bought a power saw to help the locals in my area local trees .I do not charge them expensively because most of them live below the poverty line I do live in Kandutura farm plot no. 513 about 500 mts from Kandutura dispensary and 300 mts from Kandutura cattle dip. Along side Kibogo's ave.
I started the business 0f bee keeping in 2007 to supplement my meagre income i was getting in farming .nowadays iam able to sell 15 kg of honey daily. each kg of honey goes for sh 300.i have 15 hives. i provide my beees with water which comes from a pond that i have personally dug. i have also planted many manmade trees to provide the bees with nector and shade.during the dry season i provide the bees with supplementally food so that they can continue producing honey optimally. My honey is one of the best and despite the locals buying it i sell it to the traders at Nakuru
i will use the loan to buy new beehives so that to enhance proper handling and maximum honey collection.
i will also buy honey extractor that will enable me to produce high standard honey.
i will also buy few flowers and trees to plant so that enable sufficient collection of nectar by the bees.
also will buy new gear for maximum protection from bees while harvesting honey and enhance not destroying their natural habitat
