About Me

I grew up in Suba District Homa Bay county in a poor family consisting of twelve children.I went to Kimange primary school and reached standard eight because my parents were unable to take me to a secondary school. After that i decided to come to Nairobi to look for a job.Today i am working in Nairobi in a jua kali sector where i repair and sell jua kali products. My future dreams is to try and have a better life.

My Business

I make jewelry like bangles, bracelets and earrings.I started this business in the 2008.The biggest challenge is that customers delay to pay me promptly and this makes me not to get maximum revenue because the stock is minimal thus little profits are realized. My goal is to grow my business upto international level.

Loan Proposal

Together with my little savings I will use this loan to buy a bench-drill, which is a machine that will help me make neat holes in my jewelry pieces. I am currently using a locally made hand-drill which is very cumbersome and doesn't make straight holes. currently uses a locally made hand-drill which doesn't make straight holes. The bench-drill costs Ksh 7000, and it will really make work easier at the workshop and help me make more accurate designs .

Hi Samwel, Please adjust your payments if you are having trouble making payments. Lenders would rather see very small payments than no payments. Lenders do consider payment rates when lending, so you do want to try to keep your repayment rate high. Contact [email protected] to adjust your payments. put your country and reduce payment in the subject line so your email can be directed properly. I hope you are doing well, Mary
