About Me

an ambitious girl trying to educate her self using her business, I have a salon and a movie converting business I also work as an assistant.

My Business

I am employed as an assistant and running a beauty and movie shop, my assistant salary goes to paying school fees and rent while my salon income is used to grow my business, the movie income is for upkeep .
as I work during the day evenings are spent running my business, as most clients visit after work.
I also sell beauty products like hair bands , hair piece ,lipstick, pocket perfumes , mascara, eye liner, shower caps , the movie shop sells e books and converts movies from vhs to CD or vgi. I am committed to making a better life for my self ,my family and my community by empowering myself first, as you can not empower others if you don't empower yourself. I want to be a coo who uses systems to empower small businesses and make not only myself better but the world around me






as the daughter of a single mum I want me and my 5 siblings to prosper ,I lost my father to the HIV virus was called to campus but due to the state of the families finances I could only get to third year as there was no money for education and had to look for work to sustain myself and my family.
Zidisha has given me previous roles that have enabled me to introduce new products to my shop.
I would be asking for an additional loan in order to get back to school and be able to achieve my dream and take better care of my siblings .

My proposal for the current loan is to buy a blow dry which would increase my income a lot by offering half blowdry at 50 and full blowdry at 100. The money will increase from blowdry service would be channeled in buying a flat iron to increase the services offered in my salon thus increasing my weekly income.
If all goes well these two would help me in expanding my salon and renting out stations to the local girls around who can do pedicures, manicures and plaiting
This will enable me to have my shop open during the day and late into the evening it would also empower the other girls struggling to be able to grow and better themselves.
If all goes well I would expand my salon to a beauty school in the next 3 years in order to have a salon and beauty school businesses and use my education to have a prospering business while educating my siblings and helping the community around me.
Also I would like after my plans for a beauty school have prospered to be able to give the best student a free station for a year at one of the salons I will be owning ,the rest of the first ten students will also get a discount that would allow them to build their own clientele and be able to start their own salons and hopefully make life better for themselves and others .
I am still working on a business plan with projections on how to make my dream work day by day through the internet I am learning many things on how to be a successful business lady and the structures I need to put in place
also about balancing business and school and later work for efficiency
I have learnt so far basic book keeping............................

Loan Proposal

Buy a blowdry and charge 100 for full blowdry and 50 for half blowdry
this will cost me 2-5 units for every 10 clients bringing me 80 per head profit on full blowdry and 35 on half blowdry
