About Me

I was born and grew up in a village called Kithuiani in Yatta constituency - Machakos County, I went through my primary education in Kaloleni Primary School and being the last born of a family of six and in that both of my parents were working... life was sweet without a lot of school fee hustles. When I was in form two at Mavoloni Secondary school things turned to be hard now that my Dad who was a quality controller in a printing firm had retired. He had greatly invested in education of my elder brothers and sisters who were by then in colleges. I used to pretend to be sick in school and request permission to go home. The major thing of my home going was to go grow maize and beans during rain seasons after which after harvesting could be used to clear my fees balance. I was above average in school and with no doubt my parents were cock sure of my passing to University. After I finished my last paper I came straight to Nairobi to stay with my brother Hillary and he organized a casual work at Kul-Graphics ltd where my dad used to work before his retirement. I had in mind that I had not cleared my school balance and worked even night shifts at-least to maximize my income. We were paid Kshs. 400.00 during the day and Kshs 800.00 at night. Early the following year that is 2006, the results were out. I was able to clear a school balance fee of Kshs. 4000.00 and got my results. I got a letter to join Egerton University but with the status of my parents I doubted in continuing of my education. My father decide to sell his plot at sofia at Kshs. 900,000.00 which could be used to pay for my university education unfortunately the potential buyer was only ready to buy at Kshs 400,000.00 only. My parents consulted me but I refused to the offer and promised my parents to drop the whole idea.
I was given a back to school promotion work by Colgate and when I was doing that at Nakumatt Mombasa road, I got a causual work at Mukore Market - Kamukunji where I used to do after sales delivery with a trolley there we were paid Kshs. 150.00/= but we used to get alot of 'tips' from some of good customers and I could manage to get Kshs. 500.00 - 1000.00 before the ende of every day. Now that I was still staying with my brother, I took myself to a Computer School by the name KIWAN COMPUTER COLLEGE where I learned all the basic computer applications after work (6-8pm). Later on, I went to Graffins College for Graphics design Studies and remember I was doing it part time. After 6 months of stude, I got an attachment at Make Printers and General Agencies and later-on got employed there with a basic salary of Kshs. 6000.00. After one year I got a greener pasture at Allvian Africa Ltd and was awarded a salary of Kshs. 20,000 after one year I was added 10,000 increment for a good job was doing to the firm. I used to get part-time contracts after work and had saved around Ksh 800,000.00 I bought a Digital Machine and started my a medium printing firm where I current work.

Loan Proposal

Would want to buy my Digital Machine Tonner and some printing papers that will help me print for my clients without any fear now that the tonner level is already low. The digital print machine will give a good profit of not less than 200% profit margin after all the consumables. We usually target on both walk in clients and our personal clients who we usually give a credit of up to 1 months depending on out contract agreement. some of our clients are:- KCB, Security group Africa, Allvian Media, Swiss management Academy etc.
With our Digital Machine we do CORPORATE IDENTITY Design and printing of:- logos, stationery, business cards, banners, invites, company profiles, ADVERTISING Design and printing of:- brochures, fliers, newsletters, annual reports, calendars, magazines, posters, press ads, large format prints, murals OFFICE SUPPLIES
