About Me

I was born in the village of Radienya Migori county in Kenya. I am the first born in a family of nine. I studied in the neighborhood till I attained my O level education. Later I went to college where I did my beauty and hair dressing course. From there, I came up with an idea of starting my own business to enable me assist my parents raise fee for my other siblings and to be self reliant since my parents were poor and could not be able reach the goals of educating all of us without extra support. In our culture girls are not given a priority in family inheritance like land so I had to come up with Idea that could enable me rely on my own therefore I had to get married at tender age. My hobby is watching fashion watch and through this, I have managed to learn new trending hairstyles that can attract more customers in my premise.

My Business

I do hair dressing, hair straightening, curling, plaiting,manicure and pedicure among other beauty services. The services I offer are highly on demand since I am professional in beauty services and also people need to be smart and presentable in there daily lives. Alongside that, my workers are also experienced and friendly to customers therefore it makes more customers come to the premise. I chose this kind of business because ladies in my community where I live likes elegant look through adopting new hair styles and other beauty services. I get an average of $11 per day through this I can cater for daily expenses. The profits I get from the business, I use in schooling some of my siblings and also taking care of myself and my family and the rest in reinvestment.

Loan Proposal

I will use this loan to purchase two blow drying machines each at a cost of $ 45. Upon purchasing this two machines, I will be able to serve more customers at a time and this will increase my daily income and my clients wont wait for longer hours queuing for one blow dry. My clients will also enjoy the elegant look after the services have been delivered. Currently I have two blow dries and I believe if I get the other two through your support I will be able to double my income since I will be serving many customers at ago.
