About Me
Hi,
I am Emmanuel Nandang from Kaduna Nigeria. I am a school teacher who has spent close to a decade teaching agricultural science in secondary schools. It has been years of classroom notes and demonstration farms which have been exciting. But I felt its time to follow my dream of running a farm enterprise.
In December 2020, I registered an integrated farm enterprise-- Sapphprecious Integrated Agro Enterprise.
I love farming but I want to take it a notch further than what my parents used to do.
My Business
Sapphprecious Integrated Agro Enterprise was established with the intent of going into crop production, animal husbandry and marketing of agro produce. However, due to my work load as an agriculture science teacher and also the school principal, I decided to focus on marketing of agro products.
In January 2022 post COVID-19, I started with processing of fish(catfish). I buy fresh catfish from farms and smoke them. Presently I am looking to start branding as I hope to take a plunge into mini exportation.
Apart from fish, I have started producing ginger powder which will start going into the market by March 2023.
I seek to expand my business to a point where I can FULLY devote myself and employ more hands!

Project Proposal
I will use the fund to start branding my dried smoked catfish business. I am looking to package my fish in ziplock bags and brand them with my company label. This can help me advertise my product where ever it's been used. Secondly, I am aiming at mini exportation which definitely will require proper packaging!
