About Me

I'm a fourth born in the family of eight. I was born and bred in Mpika a small town in the Northern province of Zambia. Upon completion of my grade twelve I ventured into a small business. I raised some supplement for my college costs. I'm currently working for the mining company. I am now married living with a kid.I like making gardens and I have lived like that so gardening to me is my hobby because there is no single day that have passed without me doing a garden.

My Business

If I'm funded I'll be able to buy
100 chicks which cost about $120,I run two small businesses. I have a hardware store and a poultry business. My plan is to get into business full-time and leave my full-time job. So I have decided to join zidisha so that I can be able to increase my capital base.
So far I have a contract with a restaurant am supposed to be supplying 60 chicken pay month. This will give a profit of $200 if I sale 100 chicken.I want to be buying 100 chicks twice in a month or 200 in a month which will be costing $240.
I use some of the profits I make to pay school fees for my niece at college who is studying clinical medicine at Zambia medical university.

Loan Proposal

I will buy 150 broiler chicks for the poultry which will cost about $90,medicine include Gumburo and new castle, stress park, interflox and multi vitamin costing about $20 and three bags of broiler starter feed which will cost about $80 and I will use the balance for transporting the commodities from the shops to the poultry at home.
I v employed 1 person who is helping me and we are also selling mature to the community, this have improved my garden because manure is readly available.
If I get this I will be able to buy 150. Chicks and it will increase my profit from $120 to $350,this will allow me to expand more.

I'm unable to pay the current instalment, my business got stuck when I was delayed in receiving the loan, which I was supposed to receive within 24 hours but it came 2 weeks later. I hope you will bear with me and I pray that I finish this within the schedule and that it doesn't affect the credit limit.

I'm going to buy 10 pockets of cement, sand, stones and pay for labour cost, all these at a total cost of $308. It will help me to renovate a chicken house which has no floor on the other part. I really appreciate all your efforts in making sure that my project is funded.
