About Me

I was born in Kenya in humble family of six,i went for my primary school education in my village in a school called Davies primary,i later join Katilu Secondary School in Lodwar which is an arid area, despite being volatile and bandit prone,i persevered and eventually qualified to join University,Moi University where i pursued Bachelor of Commerce Accounting Major,i have not completed my college studies due to financial constraints but am planning to raise my remaining fee balance through broiler farming so that i graduate,i started with 20 broilers at the end of last year with a little money i raised from selling traditional chickens, but am happy am now rearing 40,Eldoret which is my hometown is one of the fastest growing towns in Kenya and therefore the demand for fast foods is very high, with few farmers in broiler farming and the ever mushrooming fast foods joints, the demand supersedes the supply,i love reading, making new friends, cooking and swimming during my free time.

My Business

Broilers are a unique breed of scientifically improved breed of chickens ostensibly reared for meat which mature faster compared to traditional chickens,it takes a maximum of four weeks for them to mature when reared in a conducive warm but regulated environment and with the right feeds and prescribed drugs,i choose this business because it is not complicated and the profits are high, again,it takes a short period of time, for example,it requires only KES 4,000 to take care of 20 broilers until thy are ready for sale, the final figure when sold at the prevailing market price of KES 400 comes to KES 8,000,that is 100% profit literally, that is what has helped me grow my broiler business from the initial paltry 20 to 40 and i hope to manage it grow bigger,i reinvest 50% of my net profit into the business and use the rest to bail out my basics and also take care of my siblings.

Loan Proposal

I will inject the loan into my current broiler business by increasing my current 40 broilers to 80,that number is equivalent to USD 73(KES 88 MULTIPLY BY 80),the remaining USD 29,together with my other savings is going to go to feeds and drugs, with the capacity to supply 80 broilers,it will boost my customers confidence because i will have been consistent with my promise of supplying more and more gradually, after maturity period of four weeks,i will be able to get KES 32,000,an equivalent of USD 363,50% of the gross payment is going to be my profit, with that amount,am going to reinvest 75% of my net profit at the same time be able to repay my installments comfortably and improve my life.
