About Me

I am a small scale farmer and a claims officer with the National Health Insurance Authority. I am married with 2 kids. Salary they say, does not eliminate or cure poverty, it only manages it. It was against this background that I decided to venture into small scale livestock farming despite my regular job with the NHIA.

I begun with a few guinea fowls and hens which has today grown to about 200. I see this business to be a viable businesses of our time which the youth can take advantage of.

Since the potential and the zeal is there, I have decided to expand this livestock business so that I can become a major supplier of livestock to restaurants and other small scale farmer in the community

My Business

My business is livestock rearing. I started this business about 2 years ago and has chalked some tremendous success in terms of the number of births and people I have employed.

Since the business is small scale, the birds are housed in my compound due to lack of a descend place for the births.

I therefore have plans of expanding by building a medium sized structure to accommodate the birds . This will enable me to employ one or two people whose duty would be to cater for the birds.

All this, and more would be possible with Zidisha support.
