About Me

my name is Mwixon Kapanji from Zambia,Lusaka,i have a technical background but my passion has been dominated with the food industry, were we prepare local and international meals in a certain fashion packaging and we call it FOOD IS LIFE.From this concept i have built a system and a company called FOODFIX RESTAURANTS AND EVENTS COMPANY,in short FOODFIX ZAMBIA.This enterprise hails back from 2014 were i first established the first shop, but later i was learning the skills and the business, overtime we have grown it to an organisation and still growing it.We intend to get motorbikes for effective food deliveries and the manufacture of drones to deliver hot food to designated clients who use the app to order food.

My Business

am running a food catering and events restaurant in 2 community areas. We serve traditional local food preparations. Its registered with the local authority as FOODFIX RESTAURANTS AND EVENTS COMPANY. We intend to buy motorbikes for food deliveries as well as i have a technical engineering background, will be making cost effecive drones for quick food deliveries in the designated areas that the communications authority will give us a mapping zone and track route for quick warm food deliveries. We intend to have at least 10 to 20 operating food kiosks points that are completely independent with own Solar power sources renewable energy and water reserve tanks and entertainment for clients as most of them have a television set installed. In order to increase sales growth with the state of the art machinery we would need an initial investment of USD 2,000 to cater for all initial machinery at least 2 motorbikes or ebikes as well as 2 home made drones. This will increase the sales capacity and make the business growth visible.

Project Proposal

Am managing 2 restaurants at the moment serving local prepared foods, many times my customers who like our food find it difficult to always come to the restaurants most of the time, but rather would have the food delivered, most times we do it by hiring other motorcycles but it eats down on our costs or by taking the food by walkings by the time the food eventhough packaged neatly still will get cold, and food is better eaten when its hot.To this effect since i have an electronics and engineering background i found it costly to just buy motorcycle or an electric bike Therefore i have taken it upon myself to start assembling and build the ebikes as well as the drones for food deliveries. The cost of production would be eased by when i get neccessary equipment like the lathe machine, the bench driller and grinders, the scope meters and procure basic electronics components and feed to the arduino and python development kits that i have,of which basic factory startup amount would be $2000,in turn this will also simulteneously rase the food sales to more than 60%-80% ,and this is technology and food working together. When the factory is up and running and the food kiosks points positioned at strategic places in the city ,we are able to make yields of $500 per day. This will create employment and also expand the food restaurants to other regions of the country.
