Hi, I am Sharafa Raji, an accountant by profession. I am the fifth child out of a family of seven children though one is late. My elementary and post-secondary education were held in the ancient and metropolitan city of Kano. It was an exciting time because the schools were of top standard and the training was good. I then proceeded to a university of science and technology to study accounting for five years after which I went for the compulsory one year national service in one of the South-western states, thereafter I returned to Kano and joined a school as an accountant cum teacher.
I lost my dad recently during this Covid-19 era and among other things, he left a shop for us in the largest market in the well populated city of Kano, population here should be in the tens of millions.
The business in the shop will be that of massive sales of grains such as Sorghum, millet, maize, rice, fish, Crayfish and it's likes. Kano has being a tran-saharan hub of commercial activities, citizens of neighbouring West African countries come in and out for business and commercial activities also.
Thanks for the last loan, it came handy. My shop is at the heart of the largest market in the ancient trans-saharan city of Kano, the second most populous city in Nigeria. People, from all over Nigeria and neighbouring west African flood to this city in daily basis, so I need to be part of this fast.
The need for food is as old has man himself, two or three square meal daily will keep the demands for grains fresh and the need to meet these demands will keep my business going.
