Am Catherine Mukoya Nyanje, aged 46 from Kenya, am a devoted Christian and an ordinary farmer working to sustain a family of six. Raising my kids from a humble background I strive hard each day to make them proud of where they come from. As a mother whom my family fully rely on for survival I have alot to do with also taking care of my husband who is sick. Believing in God I always have faith that nothing is impossible and that in every hardship we endure there is always a way out.
My Business
Am self employed at my business, where I sell formal clothes and make pleasing profits at Kakamega, Mumias town. Though my business is not worth that much I always believe that one day I will emerge to being one of the best business women through the chamas and organisation like zidisha for holding firm my hands in walking in this journey.Am planning to expand the business in future to also create employment opportunity and attract more customers .
