About Me

My name is Faith wanjiku, a young lady in meru thriving to make a difference and try to better myself by being self employed and risking each and everyday trying to learn how to be a better entrepreneur.

My Business

I own a small wholesale business where I supply foodstuffs to retail shops around meru and neighbouring areas. I work with a fellow friend whose work is to do deliveries using a motorcycle to customers. Our goal is to widen our business in order to meet the rising customer demands and be able to be at level with the many wholesale competitors in Meru county. We plan to get a bigger workspace and add a few workers who can do deliveries even outside meru so as to widen our market and increase our exposure to the new trends and needs of our customers. In as much as we aim to increase profits, our goal is to create a job opportunity for our fellow youths.

Project Proposal

I am going to add stock which is another couple of bales of maize flour since I sell to retailers at a wholesale price. I not only sell flour but also other foodstuff items which are used by the daily mwananchi. This job has helped me and my colleague to be able to employ ourselves and get our daily bread. Our goal is to expand our market and meet high demand of foodstuff items.
