About Me

My name is called James Boakye born in 5th June, 1974. I come from Kwahu Nkwatia. But I was able to make it in life through art work. I travel all the way from my home town to Accra to work. Through that I was able to married and give birth to twins. My favorite food is fufu with goat meat and light soup. My goals is to continue providing my children need.

My Business

I started my creative business about 10 years ago and grew into a full time career in 8 years ago, but my love for art began when I was a child, watching my father and friends sketch little flowers in their notebooks. I inherited my entrepreneurial sprit from both my father and friends. I was eventually able to follow my passion and I now have my own artist center. My passion, dreams, and hard work as well as the fruition of my father sacrifices and hopes for me. To day my artist work has grown and it's a place where the artist are a thriving and growing parties the culture. I have be able to serve my community through custom art, and offering products such as art prints, stationery and home goods. When the pandemic began, I had to close my shop. This lost my income forced me to rethink and I was able to adopt to a virtual setting. I also put more emphasis on wholesaling my products. That was when I realized that my artist business had the potential to reach beyond just my community.
