About Me

My name is Simon Macharia. I am resident in Nakuru county Kenya; I work at mount Kenya University Nakuru Campus as the lead ICT Officer. I am a Husband married to one Patricia wandia whom i have also introduced to this worth Team and I am Dad to one boy (baldwyn chaste). I love socializing and research work . At my growing up I have learnt a lot in life and some of my failures have been my pillars in my today’s success. I have learnt to keep going as someone once told me never to look at the clock but do what it does and that is to keep moving and not to lose focus in everything that I do and always keep trying even if others see it in a different way.

My Business

Having been in the ICT field for long i do believe that i got the experience now start a consultant firm to deal with the challenges facing both the youth and the elderly people in Nakuru county.Technology is increasingly being adopted virtually in all the sectors of the economy. From education sector, manufacturing industry, to the services sector, technology is now at the centre of their operations. Banks are now adopting e-banking, schools are taking up e-learning, multinational companies are digitalizing their operations among many more.
As the demand for technology is increasing, there should be a corresponding increase in numbers of ICT experts but this is not what is obtainable at the moment as most youths and parents also lack the technical know-how most jobs require. A person that doesn't know how to use a computer system to perform a specific task would hardly fit in at any establishment. It is in view of this that the firm is to be created to equip students and other residents of Nakuru County with necessary ICT skills and competencies they need to survive in today’s' digital world.
The firm will be located at nakuru Town and its main objective will be engaging its members in activities that are geared towards improving their technical know-how . These activities include IT training, IT competitions, IT projects, IT excursions and a host of others.
As firm, we will leverages on e-learning technology to carry out most of its activities. It will use all available online resources, applications, electronic and social media channels to reach its members. This will help members to participate in the firm activities anywhere they are.

Loan Proposal

I would wish to borrow this loan to add into the little i have and do believe that the amount will assist me in acquiring a new business permit for our boutique for the year 2015/2016.This will really support our business and also make it easy for the business to run this low season.
