About Me

Am Francis Kadhua Mwaringa, Born 29 years ago in the Coastal county of Kilifi.Am married and we have a boy. I grew and was brought up in a village called Mazeras at a time when my both parents were struggling at least to put a food on the table while at the same time looking for money to educate me and my other elder siblings. Am the last born of five, three girls and two boys.
My four other sisters and a brother didn't perform well in education while it was my only chance to study hard and help my parents who were aging. I joined class one in a local primary school and after eight years, I completed and attained a Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. I later joined a local secondary school and went through to fourth form and scored average grades.
I could not join college due to lack of funds but worked hard doing menial jobs to earn a living. One time I read a news paper that Nakumatt, one of the leading Retail Supermarket was recruiting, I applied and later was called and passed the interview, i joined there as a clerk. It is from here that I started my business of selling Meat at our residential place.
The community where I come from, The Mijikenda, we love Swahili and the slang there is totally different from any other Kenyan from any part of the country. so whenever somebody from other parts of the country comes down to Coast, we refer to them as watu wa Bara(people of up country).

My Business

My business deals with buying fresh beef and pork form the abattoir at a whole sale price and then selling it in my residential area at a retail price. This is a great business because it earns me a lot of profit. In my residential place, people staying here are of moderate living therefore meat is consumed and this is by the fact that not many people sells meat.
For instance if I buy a meat worth five thousand Kenya shillings, the total selling cost will be Kes.12000 meaning I get a profit of Kes.7000. That is why I am happy with the business.
In fact the profits that I get from this business helps me to pay some rent for the business house, am also paying for the piece of land that I have purchased through this business.I thank God.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders, surely I thank God for the previous loan.I now come before you for another loan.I still need support to make some adjustments to my butchery business in order to make more profits. Here are the estimates:
