About Me

Hi to all.My names are Esther Wambui Kimani.I reside at Ragati village-Nyeri.I am the third born in our family of the rest six siblings.I come from a humble family back ground and i normally worship at God's Empire Christian Church in Karatina under the leadership of senior Pastor James Wainaina.My parents too are the lay leaders at the same church and from their strong initiation for us to go to church since we were young have made us whom we are today in the society.
I am a mother of 1 girl and a wife to Mr. Erustus Njung'e.My girl usually attends he primary education at Hills View academy and she is in class 1. Personally i am a business lady involving with selling second hand clothes.
My hobbies are making new friends,swimming,reading bible and visiting children's homes on weekends.

My Business

My names are Esther Wambui Kimani.I am a small scale entrepreneur dealing with selling and buying second hand clothes.I normally buys the clothes in bales of 25 kgs or in 17 kgs package and resells in retail to the willing customers one by one.Most of my customers are the residents of the Ragati village and it's environs and the whole of Karatina locality.
Mostly i prefer the t-shirts,ladies blouses and children's wears because they are fast moving clothes compared to men's wear.That is why i sells more than one bale in a week of each of the wear making the whole generation to be smart.
I normally do my business at the Ragati open air-market from Monday to Saturday every week.
I started operating my clothes business with a small working capital of kshs.20,000.Which i managed to buy one bale of ladies blouses and one bale of T-shirts.This made me to be popular to the area,thus making more new customers.
In Karatina municipal by laws you are needed to have a valid trade permit in order to operate the business,For me i have complied with the regulations and obtained a 12 months trade permit.
The Zidisha loan will empower me through the addition of another 1 bale of children's wear so that i maintain my loyal customers,especially the new ones.It is my earnest prayer that the Zidisha management will approve my loan for lending.Thank you.

Thank you the zidisha fraternity for your financial support.Now I am happy to see that my dream of being the main suppler of second hands clothes is not too far through zidisha Microfinance.
With the 100 Dollars-I will be dispensing the whole amount to purchase 1 bale of second-hand children's wear (Jackets)at a price of 100 Dollars from the main supplier in town.From the sales attained after i resell the jackets,I will be able to maximize my customers target,get good profit and also i'll be able to pay my loan without any problem and on-time every Saturday of every week.Thank you.
