About Me

i,m 22 years old , 5.5 ft tall dark in colour, i'm an energetic, optimistic and a goal oriented guy. i like listening to music, watching movies and playing football. i am a student but apart from that, im also a business man. i like making new friends especially who are business oriented since i will gain some few tips about business and also gain some business ideas from them. I also like being independent and not depending on my parents for everything and that was one of the reason why i decided to start my own business. zidisha have already started making my dreams become a reality since i used their first loan to expand my business.

My Business

i have a wine and spirit (takeaway) business which i started eight months ago. the business is heading in the right direction despite some bits of drawbacks here and there. zidisha helped me in boosting the business because the first loan they gave me i used in adding the stock and also expanding abit the business. the money was not enough but it sure helped me in making the first step. im now pleased to say that i can now start another business since this on is on its feet that is, i have started enjoying the returns. Apart from the business, i am employed by jovian electronics and paid fifteen thousand (187.5$) as salary. i have discovered a business gap in my area and that is the printing business. i started this business two months ago and its headed in the right direction. i normally do this business on part time bases because i only have one computer and the business can not afford to pay an employee. it has already started picking up very well to an extent that i now want to expand it.

Loan Proposal

I started this printing business two months ago and worked on part time basis. At first, it was a hobby in that, once I come from work I would print some work for my neighbors who work as teachers in the schools nearby. I then realized that those teachers were bringing more and more work so I decided to start charging them. I discovered that they did not mind me charging them; In fact, they were happy and comfortable of bringing a lot of work since they were paying for it. I used to type at night then take the work to a cyber café for printing the next morning meaning we would share that money with the cyber café. I saved the little money I was getting plus my salary and bought a printer the first month. This month I rented a room at our town center and called my cousin to be helping me since he is computer literate. This has widened the market because the business is now full time and I don’t rely only on teachers.
If my loan will be funded, I will buy another computer and a seat for my employee so that when ever I’m free and in the evening I can help him to complete the jobs on time. This will encourage more customers and also raise this business.

Hi Daniel. I'm a lender and not a borrower, so I don't know what your page looks like and how it works. Please contact your VM, he should be able to assist you.

    Hi Daniel,

Could you please check on Faith Wambui? She has not made any payments on her loan, and has ceased communicating with us.

    Thanks,
    Cricketca

    Dear Daniel,
first of all thank you for volunteering as a mentor (not always easy while running a business!).

I am wondering if you've heard from Francis Mugo in Kayole - he hasn't been seen here since Feb 11, very unlike him.

    Please advise,
    Mårten

    Hello Daniel,
I understand that you are VM for Francis Waithiru. He is long overdue with his loan and he doesn't answer questions. Please check on him.
    Best regards, Pavane

truly zidisha is a great assistant to all people in the world. At first i thought it was impossible to make this happen ....i mean applying for a loan online, without the paperwork issues, collateral and all those things that one had to do in order to acquire a loan, its unbelievable....now thanks to zidisha the goals i had but seemed to be just dreams, i now see myself in that path of turning my dreams to reality since i can access first loan at a very low interest rate. The first loan i got from zidisha helped me make some seats to accommodate more customers and i'm now planning to increase the stock upon the completion of repayment of the previous loan. Even though my business had some drawbacks i am very confident that it will go back up and even higher since i have a place i can rely on assistance in-terms of funds and that is ZIDISHA.

this month i have been having some serious financial crisis in that my business was subjected to robbery which has made me to be in a very tight possition of trying to push it up again. i will resolve it as soon as possible and i'll pay the loan as we agreed before. as soon as i have resolved them ill continue paying with the previous installments and hopefully complete the loan on time.
