About Me

My name is Sandra Sakankalimba a mother of 3 children. I live in Chingola town in the copperbelt province of Zambia.
I completed my grade 12 but I could no go far in my education due to lack of financial support to further my education.
Iam a business lady and I own a small grocery retail shop in our community and is the main source of livelihood.
In my grocery retail shop I sell mainly cosmetic and groceries and demand is really very high around the people our community.
Due to lack of financial support to expand my small grocery shop has bee very difficult for me to meet demand. Hence am appealing to lenders oversees to help me with funds that could help me purchase a cooler refrigeration to be stocking more soft drinks and mineral and other perishable good which are on demand to help me increase profit revenue.

My Business

I have a small retail shop and in my retail grocery shop I sell mainly cosmetics', groceries such as;
1. Cooking oil and mealie meal
2. Sugar, iodinated salt and
3. Rice and macaroni
4. Chickens, fish and sausages
5. Bathing soaps, tissue , Colgate
6. Diluted drinks, detergents soaps for washing.
7. Snacks and soft drinks, mineral water and milk
8. Butter, flour., spices , books, pens, pencil and many when required by the customers.
At the moment the operation cost or capital is ranges from K 20,000 to 30,000 and my weekly profit is also between K 9000.00 to K 12,000.00 .
However, I need to expand my small retail shop by also buying a refrigeration cooler for stocking soft drinks and mineral water because demand is now increasing and this is the only way I could increase my income and build a bigger retail shop in the near future

Project Proposal

With funds that will be raised from this loan, I need to buy the cooler fridge to stock more soft drinks and mineral water due to the rising of demand from the customers. From the soft drinks and mineral my profit has been K 850 and now when I put the cooler fridge my profit margin will increase to K 1500.00 which will be a plus for the small business which am developing in my community.
