Hey there Lenders,
My name is Timothy Wanyoike, I am an architect by training and an architectural visualizer by profession. I self taught my self via online videos and courses on how to create creative content and I have been able to grow this passion to a sustainable profession. I create very high end visualization content through my company studio 1080; which is one year old. It is still a small start up and am looking to grow it up to a big company with huge sales with your help.
My Business
I am the director of a young creative company called studio 1080 Limited(founded in 2017), it is one year old and fast growing. Currently, I have one temporary employee that come s in when there is a lot of work load on my side but basically I handle most of the day to day operations of the company.
The company deals in creating creative content for the real estate industry that involves branding, still renders and animations(walkthroughs/flythrough) for marketing real estate properties. At the end these content is then used in selling and marketing the real estate properties before construction as potential clients are able to see how the finished products look like. Our main clients include architects/architectural firms, interior designers and real estate companies.
One of the reason I joined this business, is I am a landscape architect in training and during my training I came to enjoy being involved in creating stunning graphics for architectural & landscape projects; secondly I realized in Kenya there is a void in creating marketing content for this specific industry so I took advantage of this and this has been my daily bread since.
So basically, this is a niche service in Kenya with great profitability as it has little recurrent expenditure. On average I charge for 1 still rendered image $180, but this ranges from $150 to $350 depending on; the size, complexity of the project and size of rendered image. On the other hand, animations are charged per minute at the rate of $2000 per minute.
A typical small project guarantees 5 images and such a projects take s 1-2weeks to complete(depending on the complexity) this translates to a revenue of $1000 per 2 weeks. However, it is important to note there are usually smaller projects that require 2-3images done within a week. So on average every month I do tend to make total sales of between $800-$1600 depending on the number of projects that come my way. This value goes higher if and when I get a project that requires an animation done, a one minute animation takes a month to be done.
In terms of costs, the total business costs the only costs that I incur are electricity costs and office rent cost. So basically, the two total on average between $150 to $200 a month. So the rest of the profit goes to feeding my small family, savings, paying rent for our home, home improvement as I save u to construct our house in the near future and other home miscellaneous expenses.

With this new loan , I will be very happy to use it in buying a new computer mouse, my 5year old mouse is acting up with the left button also right clicking. I will buy a Logitech mouse at $35.
