About Me

My name is Roland Okai Adjei. I am the first born of my parents with four siblings. I was born and currently live in Ghana in a the city called Accra. I have just finished my tertiary education in the University of Ghana waiting for my National Service.

I realized the need to build a domestic business to help people and make their homes lively. With this vision, I have raised a cold storage business to sell different food stuff like chicken, meat, fish, vegetables and fruits to my clients and ease the stress in traveling far to the market. I have decided to use most of my earnings to expand my business gradually- by raising the standard to a mobile cold storage to reach out to the many clients I have purposed to achieve. Though have not been able to purchase a vehicle with wheels- I have demonstrated my commitment to offer quality services through phone calls, text messages to show my appreciation, and continuously building a cordial relationship with them so that I can effectively identify their core needs as far as cold foods is concern.

I hope to make this business global food chain which will obviously start from Ghana- to a point that I can expand it to feed many deprived people around the world, especially in Africa.

My Business

A visionary Ghanaian citizen in my fourth year in the University of Ghana, I have realized a need to help people with basic domestic food stuff like meat, fish, fresh tomatoes, cabbages and the like. I have a dream of reducing the challenge that comes with traveling very far to the market to buy food stuffs. In Ghana, as it can be said of many countries driving to workplaces and the markets is a big challenge- the huge traffic, time wasting and the stress involved. I also hope to improve on hygiene and packaging that have being loosely considered in my country.

Upon expanding this business it will mean I will be able to reach out to many clients and sell as many food stuff as possible. I believe my business will be preferred to many others simply because of the ease and hygiene I will bring to the homes of my clients which my competitors have not thought about. Consumable goods of this nature unlike other expensive and ostentatious goods sells a lot in Ghana and brings much profit.
I have purposed to use the trust I have gained so far with determination to succeed in this business. Thanks for your help.

Loan Proposal

I really want to thank and appreciate your sincere help in my business and ambitions. My cold store business is doing well. I am maintaining to work with my clients- serve them well and gain their trust with the previous assistance you have offered me.

I have done various analysis- especially competitor analysis and environmental analysis and have conceived a pop corn business idea as part of realizing my 'food chain' business. I will use the loan to buy a pop corn machine and also erect a tent in front of my house which is located in front of a road and a pavement. Many school children and workers pass on the same route before and after school and work. Also my enviable success in the sale of phone recharge unit at the same spot after my Senior High school about 5 years ago gives me confidence in gaining success. Obviously, I will use my cold store business to build a reasonable leverage on the pop corn business to increase quality and high production. This loan will really help me in achieving my dream as becoming the largest food chain in Ghana. I have extreme interest in excellence and hygiene- and I want my clients to benefit from that. I want to make food purchase easier and worth the amount of money my clients commit to.

I believe in my vision 'global food chain' and I am confident that with your help I will be able bring solutions like hygiene, quality packaging, and excellent in the food industry in Ghana, and for that matter Africa.

I am determined to carefully build and sustain the trust you have in me and my business. Thank You.

    Good Morning Lenders,

I sincerely appreciate your kind support in time past. Then again I can't hide my inability to pay off fully the loan given to me though I made significant progress. Business isn't good as I expected because I had to pause and finish with my one year National Service after University.

However, I have started operations in my pop corn business and will need some funds to keep it running. As I have done with successive loans given to me in time past- I will make sure I pay fully within time. As Volunteer to Zidisha in Ghana, I accept the responsibility to help others achieve their aim.

    Kindly assist me.

    Hello lenders,
Hope you are doing great. And your family too is doing well. Here in Ghana, after your University education, you will have to serve the country for 1 year- National Service. That is what I am doing now. This has affected business somehow.

This will not in anyway destroy our trust for each other. I will work hard and be kind to my promises. Thank you
