About Me

I am Daniel Lagat.I started my education at Kapmeni primary school.Later I went Samota high school for my secondary school certificate. After my education I was given a piece of land by my Grandparents and I invested on by farming. My land uniqueness is that it has mixed people from different communities.I would like my children to be lecturers when they grow up.

My Business

I am a large scale farmer.I plant maize millet and even wheat. The reason why I chose to be a farmer is because I saw it is good in profit making and also the climate is favourable. In a month I spend almost $180 and in return I get about $215.The profits I get I use them to pay hospital bills for my grandmother and also educate my son.

Loan Proposal

I will use my zidisha loan to buy a sprayer. This will help the crops to grow well without diseases and improve in yields.I will also buy herbicides to kill weeds which use nutrients needed by crops.I expect my profits to increase to almost $230 where now I will be able to finish paying for the hospital bills and educate my children.
