About Me

My name is Susan Njogu ,I am 22 years old born and raised in Rungai town ,Kajiando District , Kenya. In my family we were born 3 children .2 ladies and 1 gentleman . I was born the second, in the beautiful Maasai land. My father migrated to this land when he was still very young . Challenges were immensely very many bearing it in mind that in Kajiando people survive through rearing of animals and at times, thing are not all that good because of the regular drought periods . Getting water for the human and animal survival is also very hectic .This gives a clear picture of the number of times I missed classes. Despite many difficulties in my humble family I thank God I was in a position to go through studies and completed my form four in the year 2011. Nine months afterward I joined Kenyatta University Where I pursued BA. in Business Administration for three years . I enjoy so much in this field where I find myself practicing business and sharing ideas with other business people. In the three years of my undergraduate degree I was able to learn many things among them cultural interaction ,how to do and manage business among many other things.
I love business ,inspiring people, swimming, reading novels and cooking.

My Business

In the year 2013 while in my second year I met with Pepe Minambo a motivational speaker ,a father and a pastor. His talk was such a blessing. The thing that I hardly forget is that Pepe had a life experience from his homeland DRC of Congo of entrepreneurship despite being in a very hostile place in war .In this forum when he spoke to us on the topic ‘’Failure is Optional’’ .It was hard for me to understand but as he went through his seminar teachings I remembered him saying you choose to remain fallen or to wake up when you fall. I looked at myself and the number of times I had given up in different trials in business and how much I had come to hate business .Friends would love at me when they would see me hawking in the university they would tell me that was not for campus ladies .After the seminar I viewed things at a different angle .I chose too wake up and claim for that which was lost. The little saving that I had done in my three years in the university I took that and started a small cybercafe in the market near the university .and as the year progressed I made a phone call to Pepe on the progress I had made he really encouraged me .The business that I had started with very few thousand had now grown such that I even employed someone to be in charge .Currently I deal with
internet work , printing ,photocopy, lamination , graphics, and stationery .The business is doing much well since Kenyatta University’s population is very high.
