About Me

my name is roslyne chebet i'm firstborn in our family.i have two brothers and two sisters.i went to school at kericho primary school and then went to shinners girl secondary school where i attained C+ in my O-levels.I later went to kenya institute of management and pursued diploma in marketing. The biggest challenge i overcame was when in college my Dad fell ill and his ailment medical costs were really high which made me stop midway in my diploma course.i used to live at hostels in downpart of nairobi called ngara i had befriended a woman who owned a shop there for we had come to know we hail from the same part of kenya 'rift valley'.when i started having finacial problems she loaned me alittle capital and showed me where i can get clothes at wholesale price and offerd me space in her shop to display them.thats how i overcame a hardship which had made me feel doomed.with time i became better in business and have ever since been learning more and more and even rented my own stall
in my culture we have athing for fermented milk,we take it in any cultural event having left in special gourds.also its served in gourds not in cups.funny how other cultures go to great lengths to prepare special brews us we do so but in making sure that the milk is just as perfect.
i want my children to enjoy life to the fullest and also be able to pursue their dream without any hinderances especially lack of money
i enjoy travelling especially going to see wildlife

My Business

my business is selling of clothes.i deal in brand new clothes for all genders ,i started with second hand but with time and the way the area where my shop is in Ngara is changing with a better road was built, buildings being built for offices there was demand for official clothes such as for ladies trouser suits lady suits and men shirts ties blazers.iam able to get them at a good price if i buy in bulk like atrouser suit at6$ and sell it at 11$and the mens blazers i get at $5and sell at 12$ but depends on quality it can go for more.men shirts are bigest mover getting them at 4$ and able to sell at 9$of which depending on the lable it can go higher yet buying price remains relatively the same.
i am able to make an average profit 50$per day.my expenses are transport paying of bussiness licence which i can opt for daily or yearly one time payoff.i also assist in paying for my younger siblings schoolfees.then i pay rent and myown upkeep

Loan Proposal

i am going to buy clothess for babies especially new borns upto 1yr old, these items such as socks bonnets, those tiny woolen shoes, shawls and gloves.i will buy a bale of assorted baby wear at 45$ and can sell at a good low price for they are so many in a bale.this low price ensures a sale even when economy is down.one bale can give me 25$ to30$ in profit.the same customers who come buyclothes from me will be my first target market and i see it doing very well .This loan will help me expand my daily sales
