About Me

I am Gladys. I am a businesswoman based in Mombasa Kenya. I deal with food products mostly sale of cereals like corn and beans.
I normally get my stock from wholesalers and then I retail the products.

I am married with three young children who are yet to figure out their careers. However, they are doing well in school and I hope to guide them to choose careers that will suit their ability.

My Business

As mentioned above, I sell dry cereals form my small outlet. I sell small amounts ranging from one kilogramme to 50 kilogram bags. It is a profitable business but I get into challenges when harvest is not good because this makes the cereals very expensive and this erodes my profit margins.

Project Proposal

I will use the money to buy maize from farmers and then sell from my retail outlet. This money is enough to buy to sacks of 90kilograms each and I hope to make a good profit of about 30%. This will enable me repay this loan and improve my turnover.
