my name is cynthia. I grew up in baringo county in a family of six children.My mum was widowed at an early age,therefore we had to be independent early.I live and do my business in baringo,life has been tough because of insufficient fund to enlarge my business and therefore be able to have a better life. My dreams for the future is to give my children a better life than i had,and build my mum a permanent house

My Business

I do poultry farming,broilers and local breeds. The broiler is ready for market at 5wks,while the local breed takes time but is cheaper to maintain. Challenges are;expensive feeds and diseases outbreak for broilers. To increase number of poultry and start layers breed too is expensive.
my customers are local community residents and in a month i make profits of upto $ 150 which i use to help my family needs and expand my business more.

Loan Proposal

With the loan i will Purchase more chicken and chicken feeds at a cost of $50, i intend to increase my sales hence increase my profit. My business will increase in the sense that i will have more cash to buy more chicken feeds therefore increasing the number of chicken i will be breeding. And in future my capital will go up. With more capital to do business, i expect more returns therefor my family life status will improve for the better.
