I am Rev Fr Innocent Ekeagwu. I am a lecturer and one of my colleagues introduced me to Zidisha so I decided to apply in view of my farm. I cultivate grains, root crops and vegetables.
I plan to get into integrated farming with poultry and piggery.
My main income source is my salary and I also engage with farming work. The produce of my farm help to augment and sustain me and my dependants. I also pay wages to the local people that help in the planting, weeding and harvesting work.
I will use the fund to buy sets of day old chicks and piglets. This will make up for my plan of going into integrated farming. The fund will also be used in buying feeds and the necessary drugs that will be needed to take care of the chicks and also the pigs.
some of the chickens will be sold when they mature and some will be used in the upkeep of our Seminarian novices. Same also for the pigs.
