About Me

I am lady 23 years of age who has completed form 4 in the year 2012. After completing secondary education, I was taken to a beauty college and completed my course in 10 months. My father helped me with beauty kit and I started a small salon in Miti Mingi. My job mostly deals with women and school girls. In a month, I am able to save a profit of 10000 and I also train local girls. My business is stable although it was quite challenging in the beginning - around December 2013.

My Business

My business involves beauty including hair plaiting, manicure and pedicure. I also sell cosmetics to other two upcoming salons in Miti Mingi and even to other salons in the neighbouring villages. I usually use my income to buy more cosmetics. However, cosmetics and beauty kit are very expensive and this has been the greatest challenge so far. The money I make will be enough to repay zidisha loan. I trust the person who invited me to zidisha and I believe he also trusts me in especially money matters.

Loan Proposal

My current status is that i use only one driers and i need several driers so that i can handle several customers at the same time. Currently I intend to start with one drier that will cost me Kshs 11000 and two 5-litres containers of conditioner and shampoo at the cost of Kshs. 450 and Kshs. 400 respectively. I also intend to one more heater @ Kshs 1150 since I am planning to employ another worker since customers have increased in numbers. I greatly hope that zidisha loan will help me in this regard and I am sure I will double profits. Thanks to all lenders.
