my name is gbadebo ifabiyi,im 45 years old and am married with 2 kids.I've loved poultry since I was 18 and even as an undergraduate I had a poultry.I love livestock and apart from the fact that it brings in an income I love watching animals grow in my care.I usually develop a kind of attachment to the birds and grief deeply if I lose any of them.I have a dream of having at least a thousand birds before the end of next year (2020) and I strongly believe zidisha offers me a platform to actualize the dream.I believe it can be achieved by continually discovering cost effective methods which at the same time prove very effective in achieving my target weight of 3.2 kg in 7 weeks

i am into poultry,i raise a minimum of 150 broilers at a time.i already have customers who buy for frozen store and life chicken retail resell.ive always loved livestock even as a teenager,watching them grow from day old chicks to over 2.5kg in a few weeks is something i cant get used to,the feeling is indescribable.invest about 150,000 and make 230,000 per 100 birds in 7 weeks.i split the profit into 2,with one part i pay my tithe and spend the rest on household expenses and the other part i reinvest in the business.i started with 25,000 last year but i now have a working capital of 175,000
Loan Proposal
I intend to pay for 20 bags of feed till the birds are ready for sale.the loan will enable me buy the feed at once from the wholesale depot where I get a discount of 200 naira per bag.it's financial implication is that I will save 4,000 by paying 3800 instead of the 4000 naira price at the retail store.I will also save money on transport costs cause I'll pay once instead of paying for several trips and finally buying the feed once will help me in following the feeding chart judiciously and achieve my am of 3kg per bird by 7 weeks.zidisha has been a dependable partner in financing my business and as usual I expect this loan to be used in moving my business forward in the desired direction
