About Me

I live in Kiptangwanyi shopping center which is approximately 43km from Nakuru town. Nakuru town is our nearest major town within this area. I am married with one child. I live in plot number 47 at the shopping center where I carry out my business with my family. My business entails a retail shop at the shopping center. I sell goods that range from foodstuffs and home use wares.

My Business

My business entails a retail shop at the shopping center. I sell goods that range from foodstuffs and home use wares.. The business is good as this is where I get basic needs to sustain the family and most of my income is from this business. The main challenges that this business encounters are lack of finance to frequently stock my business and fluctuating prices of fuel which adversely affects the business negatively. It is my hope that I will get a loan from Zidisha and I will be able to improve the status of my business.

Loan Proposal

Thank you lenders fro your opportunities that you have offered in improving my business. I have done alot in improving my small retail shop. I therefore wish to use this loan to improve the loan in the following ways. Firstly, I wish to buy a fridge to store fresh milk in my retail shop. This is important as milk goes bad easily and thus without a good storage facility it is not easy to store large quantities of milk. With the fridge I will be able to buy more milk and store. The fridge costs roughly 45,000 ksh. This is roughly 600 US dollars. The business will improve a great deal.

    Hello Lucy,

Do you plan on repaying this loan? Repayments help the community continue to offer loans to others. We depend on repayments to keep the cycle going. This is how we can all avoid the large interest charged by banks.

Let us know how you are doing.

    Blessings,
    Jamal

    Dear lenders
I hope you are all doing well and am doing well too. My business is doing fine too. It has however declined in the income that it gives out and therefore I have not been in a position to send my weekly repayment. Thus I wish to change the installments and hope to resume in the next repayment on time.I am positive that things will change for the better and I will be able to make ontime repayments.

    Dear lenders
I wish to adjust my repayment at this moment as I have been unable to make ontime repayments. This is due to the poor performance anr declined income from the business. The past few weekshas seen me get very low income and thus I was unable to make my ontime repayments. Thus I wish to reschedule to a new plan which ia my hope thta will give me time to reorganize myself and start making regular repayments. Thank you
