I am Philip Nganga, I live in Nakuru and I have a business I operate at Nakuru CBD at a building opposite Nakuru top market, I am a father of one child called crystal and I was brought up in Nakuru town and this is where I still live, I schooled at Kenyatta Secondary for my high school and Primary I schooled at mama Ngina Primary schools.
I started my business because after finishing my college I felt its not wise being just idle around and I have bright future, I felt I should start it to help me fulfil my tufure needs. I love watching movies and as well walking and hiking. I have worked as a door to door
marketting salesman, where got payed by commission, and in that job I learned how to keep my possitive mental attitude.
I have worked as a waiter while trying to make ends meet.It payed very little, but I managed to save a little, I started my own business from the little saving I had put aside and some assistance from family and friends.
My Business deals with entertainment, I am located at Nakuru opposite Nakuru top Market, I sell movies and also I do sell some computer spair parts , I sell flash disks, Memory cards,Empty DVDs and CDs to my clients,I get an income of $560 monthly after paying my rents for my house and business building inclusive of electricity and also water, I remain with a saving of $120 which I found it a good rewarding.
I believe that the best proffession in life is one that you are passionate about and most of all enjoying doing. With some computer knowledge i had aquired from I.A.T , I came up with an idea to custom build my computer, this machine would be the heart of my business and by researching day and night I was able to build my dream machine.
I intend to buy hard drives and computer tft screens. Hard drives at a cost of 50$ for 500 gb and tft screens at 55$ for 19 inch. I will be able to sell the 500gb hard drives at 70$ and the 19 inch tft screens at 80$ respectively.
The market for hard drives, computers and screens is high due to the fact that almost every high school graduate wants a computer and some want to use them for business. My target is to get into that market especially during this holiday season.
I expect to make 20$ profit from hard drives and 25$ profit from tft screens.
I have already found the market for hard drives and screens because I have sold a few of my old ones while upgrading my business. and the rest DOLLAR i will purchase cases and empty DVDs
by adding more products to my business, I have been able to add sales and profit.
