About Me

My name is Tatu and I live in an area called Bamburi on the outskirts of Mombasa city. I was born not far from Mombasa in a place called Kilifi. My father was polygamous and I was born in large family of 14.

I grew up in rural Kilifi and this defined the person I am today. I received modest education and then moved to the city of Mombasa on becoming an adult. I did a short course on beauty therapy and this is my career to date.

I am married with 2 kids and they are yet to figure out what they want to be when they grow up.

My Business

My business entails selling of beauty products as well as making soaps and detergents. I sell lotions, creams and hair products from my store. I also attended a short course in making soap and detergents and I have added this to my beauty business.

I hope the two departments will keep growing and give me the much needed financial freedom.

Loan Proposal

I will use the money to buy raw materials for making soap, detergents and shampoo. These are home made products that I make following a short course that I did on doing the same. They are relatively cheaper compared to other industrial products and they are very popular with low-income households.

This is the group that I am targeting with these products and I hope to make a good profit out of the venture.
