I am married with two children. Currently working for a state agency dealing with human rights in Kenya. I am currently based in Nyahururu. My daughters are aged 6 years and 3 years. I am the fourth born in a family of five. My father is deceased and my mother lives in the village in Kisumu.
I am employed by The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights since November, 2018. KNCHR is the state lead agency dealing with human rights issues in Kenya. I work as the regional accounts clerk and also double up as the office administrator at the Central Regional Office based in Nyahururu, Laikipia County.
I will use this money to buy medicine for my daughter who was diagnosed with sickle cell disease when she was 8 months old. She has to take 3 different medications daily in order to manage her condition. She takes hydroxiurea, Folate tablets and Penicillin V tablets daily. My medical card has since been depleted due to several tests and drugs she got after being diagnosed with an enlarged heart 2 months ago.
