About Me

I am a young Ghanaian 27 years old. I have seven siblings three men and four ladies who are currently residing in Takoradi in western region Ghana. I am now residing in Bring Ahafo region Ghana and am working with the Ghana Prison Service. I was enlisted into Ghana prison service in the year 2007 . I enjoy reading and sports are my hobbies. I do play football and enjoy listening to news. I was raised by a single parent .Madam Theresa Yeboah struggled to raised us since our Daddy couldn't help us .She even sold her things in order to pay for our fees. I struggled through this to get to where I am today. So now it my turn to help my mum and my siblings . Some of them are still schooling .Two of my sisters have finish vocational training and need some money to start their own business and I need to help them.
In order to support my siblings with their career persuit am into poultry farming to generate additional funds

My Business

I am a prison officer a government employee, my mission is to help reform the prisoners by making the self-employed after their sentence is served.

with the help of my superior officers we have been able to start sandals making in the prisons yard. In as much as we are helping them to get a trade after prison sentence, it also an avenue for helping the inmate to make money from the sales of sandals they make in order to make their lives meaningful from here.

These sandals are sold to the prison officers and to other shops in town. A pair of sandals is sold for $4.
We are able to produce 50 pair of sandals in a week

The prisoner who have shown interest in the sandals making are paid $10-15 in a month depending on the sales we make in the month

Currently we have 35 inmates in the sandals making

Loan Proposal

This loan will be used to purchase materials for the expansion of the shop in order to train more prison inmates and also increase the production of the sandals which will increase our daily sales so that we can raise some funds for the inmates when they are going on discharge to go and start up their own business.

    Hi Albert,

I love what you are doing.
